Here are a some photos taken by me on my walk through Siggiewi, south of Rabat taken on 26th May 2013.
Ta’ Betta Wine Estates is a vineyard of around 3 to 4 hectares planted to a few international grape varieties in 2003, located in the south of Malta not far from Girgenti, Siggiewi.
It is the brainchild of the rector of the University of Malta, profs. Juanito Camilleri who aspires to take his enthusiasm for wine to the commercial level of growing grapes and importing wine. Prof. Juanito Camilleri is listed as applying for a two-storey winery at il-Fawwara.
