This sumptuous 4 course dinner is prepared using Maltese quality ingredients farmed or caught within about a 10 mile radius encircling the venue, featuring some special dishes which are carefully paired with Malta-grown ‘new heritage’ wines that are showcased during the event.
Billed as ‘The Voice of Maltese Wines’ (aghum) and author of the award-winning book ‘Wines of Malta – The Essential Guide’, I’ll start the experience at 7.30 pm with a 30-minute introduction to Malta’s modern wine industry.
Questions will be fielded over a refreshing glass of Girgentina or Gellewza Frizzato semi-sparkling wine and light hors d’oeuvres whilst guests will get a chance to also meet and greet executive chef Kevin Arpa before being escorted to their dinner table by the waiting staff.
Dinner is served at 8.00 pm when the kitchen brigade takes over and awakens your palate to a truly authentic dining experience, using their creative culinary talents and an assortment of nature’s gifts that are all locally sourced. Dishes are matched with hand-selected wines
The culinary menu is complemented with hand-selected quality home-grown and hand-crafted Maltese and Gozitan wines from the Frizzato, Medina, Grand Vin de Hauteville and Gran Cavalier ranges produced by Malta’s most awarded winemaker Emmanuel Delicata. All wines as well as mineral water and coffee course are included in the price of €42 per person. Seats are limited and reservations are recommended.
